I love this bookstore and know the owner. He is a humble, respectful and hardworking person. He created this space to showcase BIPOC writers and invite readers to get together in events or just to have a community space to share with everyone. Great selection of books and art products from local artists.

This is such a great book store, an amazing addition to the neighborhood! I visited the first week they opened and was so happy that I did. The owner Adrian is so sweet! The children’s room is so unique and my four year old had a fun time picking out a book. I was so happy to see how sold out of books they were for being open just a few days. I follow the instagram and know that they are busy with events and keep everything fully stocked. This store’s main goal is lifting up the BIPOC community and my children are also Ecuadorian like Adrian and we are always ready and beyond happy to support Ecuadorian owned businesses!

I live in the neighborhood and was so happy that a bookstore opened close by. I went during the Hispanic Heritage Month block party and their selection is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I currently use a mobility aid and getting in and out of the store was super easy. I did end up purchasing a book and will definitely be back. I hope one day they can expand to offer more books and events!

I went to World’s Borough Bookshop with a friend and absolutely loved it! Adrian was super awesome. Not only was he personable and welcoming, he really knew his stuff! You can tell he is someone who loves his community, loves empowering authors and artists and he is creating such a genuine and welcoming space. I’m thankful a place like this exists in queens. I love that I can find BIPOC authors celebrated. I love that there is a space for children’s books, I love it all. I think everyone should check it out.

Today I stumbled upon this little gem while exploring Queens on foot. With a selections of books exploring different cultures and social topics, you’ll find something to spark something in you. Loving my book on the implications of tech companies on rural Chinese communities. Visit the store and you won’t regret it

When walking into this space, you can sense a welcoming vibe with the couches, colorful shelves and mini fridge full of treats. The shelves are always filled with amazing BIPOC authors or Queens based authors that really represent the community of Jackson Heights. Every book is intentionally selected and stocked by the owner so there’s always a different selection to choose from and always something to buy. The small business room is full of amazing artists that sell stickers, bookmarks, earrings, soaps (like myself), art, tote bags, etc; and the kids room is amazing. My kids always have such a great time on the cozy rug, going over books. He doesn’t even mind if you come just to read a children’s book or two. So far I’ve only been able to attend one event but it was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure there was coffee and snacks for everyone to enjoy from another local business. Love this place 💛

Such a great bookstore! Wonderful selection of books and great people to help you find what you're looking for. Lucky to have this place in the neighborhood! Hoping to go to some more of their events this year, too. Really doing what a bookstore in Jackson Heights should be doing ❤️

Stopped by today and was pleasantly surprised at every corner. Books in different languages, for all ages, and intersectional all around. I see they host events geared towards every kind of audience and would venture out to Jackson Heights to visit again. I picked up a cute sticker on my first visit and noticed school children going into the bookstore after school - a great sign!

A super cute little bookshop, with books from different cultures and languages. It feels like the books were selected with genuine intention and a love for literature and learning. Welcoming atmosphere and a great vibe overall, this feels like something that you truly would only find in Queens.
